About Villa

After just one visit, when you think of luxury villa rentals in Puerto Vallarta, the refreshing indulgence, comfort and much-deserved tranquility of Casa del Quetzal will come to mind. Casa del Quetzal is a 3-level villa consisting of 5 bedrooms, 5½ baths and 11,000 square feet of architectural inspiration. It was designed by Mexico’s own Arturo Ramos who grew up in a colonial hacienda in Mascota. Ramos masterfully built Casa del Quetzal in 1999 to reflect the ambiance of his childhood home. To shade guests as they enter the villa, he generously placed a parota wood pediment from his Mascota home just above Casa del Quetzal’s wooden doors. Once inside, you will be awed by the expansive sophistication of Casa del Quetzal’s open-air courtyard and wide beamed loggia. The Colonial Cantera Stone, impressive artifacts and Mexican tile fountains are reminiscent of the nation’s vibrant culture. In the corner, a hideaway alcove invites relaxation and the entertainment of tropical birds and butterflies that frolic in the morning sun. Casa del Quetzal’s personal chef provides scrumptious edibles made from farm-to-table ingredients. With a blended tropical beverage in hand, smell in the salty air and drink in the panoramic views of the Banderas Bay.
